SOLX® TECHNOLOGY
The SOLX® System with CPD Anticoagulant and SOLX Solution is intended for the collection and leukoreduction of
500 mL CPD Whole Blood and subsequent processing of into Red Blood Cells and plasma:
- The SOLX Solution (synonymous with AS-7) is the only RBC additive solution approved in the US for the preparation of RBCs from WB held at room temperature for up to 24 hours.
- The SOLX System is the only manual system approved in the US for the preparation of plasma from WB held at room temperature for up to 24 hours.
LEUP™ Leukoreduction Processing Circuits
Conventional leukoreduction sets require two or three manual steps using vents, check valves and/or valves to accomplish the filtration of blood products. HEMERUS’ LEUP processing circuit technology enables leukoreduction of blood products in an easy ONE STEP™ vent-free process. Operators simply hang the LEUP set, initiate flow, and walk away. LEUP processing circuit technology improves overall efficiency and frees up operators' labor and time, allowing them to perform other tasks during the filtration process. LEUP processing circuit technology is particularly beneficial for units processed in cold environments, such as walk-in refrigerators
LEUKOSEP™ Leukocyte Reduction Filter
Hemerus' LEUKOSEP leukocyte reduction filters are designed to effectively remove leukocytes from blood and blood products. The self-priming LEUKOSEP filters provide high efficiency leukoreduction with low residual hold up, making the filtration process rapid and effortless.
